Wow - Ryland has really changed. He doesn''t look as much like a baby as he does a little boy. Now the fun is really going to start. Running around and getting into things. I can''t wait to hear all about his adventures discovering the world around him.
I love all the new pictures that have been posted. Ryland is growing up so fast. Love the teeth. That''s a cute video of him playing the piano. I want tickets when he starts touring and is up this way. LOL.
One year ago tomorrow your beautiful baby girl, Railey Marie, grew her wings and went back home. I will never forget that day. I almost felt my own heart was taken from me. And never will I know how you felt nor how you feel now.
However, I wanted to let you know, that your sweet baby girl has touched so many peoples lives and she too will never be forgotten!
Hi Ryland - Happy, Happy Birthday to You! Your first birthday is special one and I hope it was a good one. At the same time I''d like to say a little prayer to Railey Marie....May God and his angels celebrate with you in heaven on this day the first anniversary of your birth. And may you know how much you are loved and missed on this earth. To Bruce and Crystal - on this bittersweet day, May God be there to comfort you. You all are in my thoughts and prayers.

I have to admit I am so touched by you all thinking of me in sharing the DVD. I just watched as much as I could, as I was crying so hard. I am so glad you thought of me and sharing your lovely children in a way no one would ever imagine.
I hope you had a wonderful Mother''s Day and I know your two little ones above were watching over you and Ryland as you were able to spend the special day together.
All my love and THANK YOU!
P.S. Skylin has a message for Ryland.... she said to tell him she had a cheese burger happy meal today and Mommy remembered to ask for the under 3 toy! Oh and she said she is taking 10-15 steps on her own... oh and her brother thinks he can jog haha
WOW Ryland has gotten SO very big! We will always remember ALL children even those that can not be with us today. I wish Crystal a late Happy Mother''s Day!! I have been very busy with work and the kids but I did get that out to ya. I really enjoyed the email, thank you Bruce. Sometimes it just takes one thing to make someone smile. Have a good night and I wish Ryland good luck tomorrow. I don''t work again until Thursday.
I looked up the Lyrics to Held because I am planning a special Memorial Day service at our church for people who have lost loved ones and I saw this link. I''m so sorry for what you have been through. We also have had loss in our life. May 17, 2007 will be the first anniversary of our 18 yr old daughter''s death. She was hit on her motorcycle while going to buy her graduation open house balloons. She was one of 2 girls to give the graduation address. She had a 3.9 GPA. But most of all she loved Jesus with all of her heart and I know she is in heaven. It is a real place and we will see her again. We have gotten involved with a support group called GriefShare which we are now fascilitating. It has been wonderful. I know you must be very busy but I hope you get to read this. Thanks for sharing your story. Our email is firstname.lastname@example.org if you would like to chat more.
I am soooooo excited that you guys are coming this way. Let us know when so we can come and see you. Ryland I know that you will like it over here. There is plenty of family over here to go crazy over you. Can''t wait.
As the grandmother of a premature grandson, I personally identified with all 28 items on your May 3, 2007 list. It is a "keeper". I send this list to Matthew''s mommy and daddy. I don''t think they ever listed what it means to be a parent of a preemie. Ha Ha
Ryland, Matthew will be celebrating his 2nd birthday on May 10, 2007. I know I will be rejoicing on your 2nd birthday as well. You are "special" little ones in the eyes of God who has a great mission in life for you. Your little sister and brother were special in God''s eyes also. Their mission will be subtle in life; but your mommy, daddy and you will be their spokes person. They are very much "alive" in your family''s hearts.
You are such a toughy for being so little. I know I will follow your life as I do my very own grandchildren. You have made "many" friends who probably will never meet you personally; but pray for you the rest of their lives. Isn''t life great? Be well, little man, you have earned the right to happiness and so has your parents. Janet
Happy Birthday, Crystal!!! You may have just turned 27; but I am sure there were times you felt like 50. Ha Ha
Seeing as Ryland''s test results are "negative", it sounds like he just has a tiny blood vessel very close to the surface of the skin in his little rectum
that gets irritated with movements. Things are not always where they should be. A friend of mine''s blood flows through his heart in reverse. Go figure!
Ryland is getting to be such a big boy and is, in deed, a very handsome young fella.
Don''t know what to tell you about the crawfish, folks; but if there is a message in there for you, I''de forego the next shipment. Ha ha.
First - Happy Birthday Crystal! Enjoy, Enjoy, Enjoy!!!
Second - It was nice to hear from Ryland again. 11 1bs. Great job. Love to see the pictures of how much your growing.
Third - Duh, do you think that''s a hint?? Stay away from Louisiana crawfish! LOL.
I just viewed your slide show and am in awe at how much older you look. Slide #17 indicates that you are going to be quite the "thinker" and well on top of things. Those frown lines are precious and look great on you. Ha Ha
One would never think that you had traveled such a rough road to get where you are today. I''ll bet mommy and daddy can''t remember what it was like without the "joy" you have filled their hearts with every minute of every day.
So happy to hear the blood has left your stool. Someday, trust me, this will all be history. You are a tough little guy with wonderful parents. You are a blessed child who has earned the "right to happiness". Keep up the good work! Love, Janet in Las Vegas
Ryland, I was afraid something like this was going on when I hadn''t heard from you or your parents in such a long time. It is hard for mommy and daddy to stay on top of your health issues and keep all of us up to date. We are all just anxious to hear that you are doing well.
I know this first year is hard on you and your family. It is like a roller coaster ride; but as you mature, the ride will get smoother. I am just happy the doctors and nurses are able to get you some relief and back home again.
I am still praying for you and know that you are a "special" little boy with some pretty special needs for right now. You are a tough little guy and someday this will all be in the past.
Tell mommy and daddy to get all the rest they can. It''s not easy being a parent; but they are getting older and wiser with each day.
My grandson, Matthew, will be turning 2 years old in a few weeks and one year has made a big difference in his level of care. His terrible 2 moods are far more significant than his health issues now, and this makes "life good". hee hee
